Aaron has been working in financial services since leaving education in 1997, starting his career with a number of the large institutions before setting up his own IFA practice in 2006. Along with his fellow director Gareth Thomas, they subsequently set up HawkinsThomas Wealth Management, a Partner Practice of St. James's Place.
Aaron is a Chartered Financial Planner, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and he also holds an MSc in Wealth Management from Loughborough University. HawkinsThomas Wealth Management also holds Corporate Chartered status with the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Aaron manages the affairs of a wide range of clients including business owners, trustees, CEOs along with private clients approaching or already enjoying their retirement.
With the use of high-end financial planning tools, Aaron seeks to understand what is important to clients, along with their short, medium and long term goals. Once he understands this, he will create a comprehensive financial plan which forms the bedrock of any financial advice. Rather than focusing on products and funds, Aaron's number one priority is the helping his clients achieve financial peace of mind and freedom to do the things they want in life.

Aaron lives in Dinas Powys in the Vale of Glamorgan with his fiancée Laurie, their daughter Willow and son Tobias. He also enjoys a round of golf (when he gets the chance) as well as keeping fit.
